I read
about your death today while I was looking for friends from the past. I am
totally bummed out. It was so cool to talk with you at the class reunion. We
laughed about how you were the one to tell me about Jerry Garcia and the
Grateful Dead. We were both in the 7th grade then. Will every time someone make
a joke about my name I'll remember you. I will remember you when I turn up my
guitar and escape in music. Now I wish I would of taken up your offer to jam. I
will miss you and will wear the Eddie Spaghetti and the Meatballs t-shirt in
remembrance. You were a kind and caring person.

It's been a
year today. I still wonder why, wonder what I could have done, wonder if it
will ever make sense.
Saw a really bright, beautiful cloud in the sky way past dark last night, a noctilucent cloud they call it, and I wondered if you were
out there.
Saw Butch a couple of weekends ago, talked a bit, I couldn't talk much.
The Road King is still running well & I'm working on the Sportster. Maybe you already know all of that.
A nice, sunny day, just like last year.

In the
fifteen years we lived in Marysville, Jim was my BEST friend. I met him at
Boeing in '91 and we hit if off right away as fellow Deadheads. Jim was there
for me when my brother died of cancer. My wife and daughters all loved him too,
he was like a hero to them.

My heart
goes out to all of Jim's family and friends. Jim was a fabulous musician that I
enjoyed for many years. I will always remember him playing his drums on my

Jim was a
dedicated, and loyal, Boeing employee. He willingly extended his support to
coworkers, creating a foundation of rapport, integrity and long-standing
respect. Jim was a valued member of the evening shift 'family'. It is with deep
regret to learn of his retirement years being short-changed by misfortune. I
pray that your remembrances will be uplifted like Jim's beautiful, free spirit
and his genuine hugs and love.

Jim was my
Lead on the 747 in PCA 565. He knew every part number in his area-knew what
went where and why. He had an easy way and a warm smile. The last few years
before he retired were all about the countdown of days left. He'd always give
you the tally. I recall when it got down to double digits, it sunk in that he
was really leaving. Still missing you Jim~
